Casta Del Mar South Point Aviators are very good, but Smiths Serpico 2 are better. I just tried each pair looking at morning glare on the ocean and the Smiths were better at reducing the glare. Both have polarized blue mirror lenses. The Smiths Chromapop 2 lens works better than the Casta Del Mar’s lens. Both pairs are well made. The Smiths have more curvature to the lens and wrap around more.Great qualityFit great, look greatI bought for my son and he loves them. I love the brand and its the only one I buy.I LOVE these glasses... BUT... this is honestly the first pair of costas that I’ve ever owned that had an issue of one of the lenses actually popped out from actually sitting them on a table softly too. They were not dropped in any way, yet the lease popped right out and has not been secure since. So now I have to go without them which I hate to do, so I can pay $12.95 to ship them off to costa to be repaired. Having said that, I do LOVE their fit, look and actually are the only pair of aviator style glasses that stay securely on my face while riding a motorcycle. This is not an easy thing to find! So that’s my feedback on these incredible looking glasses.I normally am not the type of person to spend a lot of money on sunglasses, I like to get the cheapest ones from a gas station when possible. My husband and his whole family swear by Costa Del Mar sunglasses, so he urged me to give them a try. I immediately saw the difference the first time I put them on, everything looked like it was in High Definition. The biggest difference that I found was after about a day of wearing them, normally when I get home at the end of the day my eyes are tired and strained. I find on days that I wear my Costa Del Mar sunglasses I do not experience the uncomfortable eye fatigue, and find it I actually enjoy going on long drives now as I am not constantly swearing at the sun and squinting to see. I cannot wait until the weather gets warmer and I can take them out Bass fishing on the lake!!!!!I love Costa's. They are great lenses. Theses South Points fit securely on your head. My wife was in Naples with friends who were wearing super expensive designer sunglasses. She said here try these, they tried them and then asked are these prescription glasses. Needless to say they saw things threw the Costas that they were missing through their over priced Designer glasses.Cumplió expectativasVery nice. You can feel the quality instantly.
