It is said that the style of these in coming back, but for me it's never left, I had all my glasses in the 70's in this aviator style, and even thought they lookes a little more uptempo styled today, I still like the basic design. I've had some polarized sunglasses before, but these seem to be better and better fitting for me. I use prescription lens, not as powerfull a prescription as I used to since I had double cataract surgery a few years ago. I had them leave my eyes slightly nearsighted so I could read without glasses and work at the computer without them. One of the bad things about prescription lenses and frames is the styles change and currently it's hard to find large lenses like these, everything is smaller. I prefer glass, but I like these and it's getting harder to even get prescription glass made, plus I get auto tint, and I've not been able to get polarized in my prescription before because I like the glass type. I like it because it's easy to clean with even a rough towel won't damage it. These seem durable, but apparently you still need to be careful, it cautions against sea water, so salt or brine may damage them.I tried them out reading on my covered porch with the sun out, and they were really nice. I wish I could get the same in my prescription for driving and such, but I'll have to stick with clip-on types for that, but I do like these, comfortable, not over priced, and filter glare and brightness down to manageble levels to read with in daylight. I like them. Recommended.Overall lense size on these is a little large for aviator style sunglasses, but aren't comically large. I'd say this size of sunglasses are going to work best for those with a slightly larger head and pronounced cheekbones.Visually, these function very well. I tried them out in the middle of the afternoon, on a sunny day and I was pleased with the protection and polarization offered. The arms on these are well done and stable. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is the top portion of the frame where the two sections are squared off. I'd prefer a sweeping style aviator.Overall, these are good sunglasses and i recommend them as long as you like this particular stye.4 starsCheers!Own several OLIEYE glasses. They have a trend of having quality lenses and accessories (case/cleaning cloth) with low quality frames (to compromise for the price). This pair of glasses are no exception.Lenses are indeed polarized and works very well. This one has a aviator style design with a bridge up topFrames on the other hand is not good and made of low quality material, but still durable enough to wear. Metal used is very thin. Arms grips your temples well though (may very by person), most likely not slip of when looking directly down at your feetCan be a one-time use throwaway after vacation, trip, concert, party type of glassesOverall, good lenses, cheap frames, excellent price.I ordered these sunglasses for my husband. They're not his favorite sunglasses, but since he loses, breaks, or scratches them frequently, he likes to have multiple pairs. This is a classic style, slightly changed by the squared off angles of the frame. These are larger sunglasses, best suited to a man with a large head. The sunglasses are light, but the frames are plastic rather than metal. In my personal opinion, the plastic gives them a cheap look. The polarization does work well, which is a handy feature when we're boating. They come nicely boxed with a faux leather case and cleaning cloth. These sunglasses are very nice. They are comfortable on. I really like that they have protection against the sun. It is so important to protect your eyes from the sun’s harmful rays. I felt that this did that very well.It looked pretty good on. I didn’t feel like it was too heavy or tight or anything. I thought it was pretty flattering. It covered a nice range of my vision. It felt like it was well made. It seemed to be of decent quality. It didn’t break or anything.Overall, I am pleased and would recommend it.I don't know what happened to sunglasses with metal frames. Every pair I've acquired in the last year or so has had cheap plastic frames. This is definitely not my preference. These Polarized Sunglasses for Men by Olieye look good. They are definitely polarized and they fit my face well. But I don't like sunglasses with plastic frames; it makes them look cheap and fragile. As a fashion statement, they are not half bad; as I said, they do look good. But I can't get beyond the plastic frames.Recommended if you don't mind plastic frames. Four stars; five for appearance, minus one for the frames. My brother is a professional bass angler who spends a ton of time on the water fishing. Sunny days can be a big issue for him, and he goes through sunglasses like other people go through paper towels. This pair seems to have finally done the trick, though. He said that the polarization works perfectly. The glasses do have plastic frames, so that’s something to keep in mind if you prefer metal frames.Surprisingly comfortable. At first, I was turned off by the sheer amount of plastic and the extra bridge atop the nose bridge. But it grew on me. Now its the pair of sunglasses I leave in my car for driving. The amount of UV protection is readily apparent. The shade is better than most sunglasses. The flexibility of the frame ensures it can take a beating and still hold its primary shape.Real good stuff.
